On February 12th and 14th, Copenhagen Airport had invited 200 suppliers to a demonstration of P-Secure's airport solution.
In the coming months, many new employees are due to be hired at the country's airports. Everyone has to go through an expanded background check, to gain access to the airport grounds, including an ID and resume check. Similarly, many thousands of ID cards or “port cards” have to be renewed, as a result of the traffic authority's regulations.
With the current manual processes, it is a time-consuming work for both the applicants and the individual company. Therefore, Copenhagen Airport had invited P-Secure to provide a demonstration of the automated solution for background checks.
Background: P-Secure has been operating at Copenhagen Airport since December with very satisfactory results. Companies can purchase a standard package that complies with the Danish Transport Authority's requirements for extensive background checks.
