Security course for the aviation industry

Several of our customers have reported in laudatory terms about the safety courses that Claus Rasmussen has held for the aviation industry. Claus has now been retired but through P-Secure offers targeted courses to the European airports and their “Regulated Agents”, “Security Approved Cargo Agents, “Known Customers” and “Known Suppliers”.

This course is based on the terrorist attack on 11 September 2001 and reviews the development of international terrorism, with a particular focus on how the threats affect Denmark and Danish companies.

Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the different types of terrorist attacks on civil aviation, including the cargo area. The course will also touch on the ways in which international aviation organisations such as ICAO, ECAC and the EU, as well as national authorities such as the Danish Transport Agency, the police and PET, work together to strengthen safety. We will review the relevant regulatory frameworks, such as the NASP, and explain how these affect businesses.

The aim of the course is to create understanding and motivation to comply with regulatory requirements and provide concrete advice on how to contribute to better safety in aviation. The course lasts between 1 and 3 hours, depending on the needs and content.

The course will be led by Claus Rasmussen, who has a long and distinguished career within the Danish police and the Crime Prevention Council. Claus has worked as a safety advisor in PET since 2004, where he focused on increasing safety in the transport sector, especially in aviation. His extensive experience and knowledge make him an invaluable resource for all who attend the course.

We look forward to welcoming all interested parties to this important and enlightening course, which will contribute to a safer future for the Danish aviation industry.
